Clerk, Truancy
Employment Term (days): 205
Pay Scale: Paraprofessional/Clerical 3
Primary Purpose:
To organize and ensure the efficient operation of the truancy coordinator's office so that student attendance across the district is maximized and shows improvement annually.
Qualification Guidelines:
Education/Certifications:
High School diploma or GED
Experience:
One to three years' clerical experience, preferably in public education environment, public sector or judicial system
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and ability to manage other software programs
Ability to develop and manage spreadsheets & databases
Effective organizational, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills
Excellent phone etiquette
Ability to operate general office machines and type 40 wpm accurately
Excellent customer service skills
Able to acquire notary certification
