WR8 Logistics is hiring Seasonal Full-Time & Part-time Drivers to deliver packages for a national technology company. We are looking for dependable, independent, safety-focused individuals in the Victoria, TX area, who pay attention to details, can quickly problem solve a wide range of situations, and win in a demanding environment.

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, communicate effectively, and are ready to get the job done. Successful delivery employees enjoy being out on the road, put safety first and care deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction.

Military veterans are welcome! Commercial, DOT, or CDL experience is a plus, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $21.50/hour starting pay (paid bi-weekly)
• Medical Insurance (available after 30 days; not available to employees working under 30 hrs./week)
• Paid time off starts accruing immediately at start of employment.

Performance Bonus:

• Fantastic Plus Bonus - Starting at $50, with the potential to increase over time based on performance.
• Quarterly drawings with special gifts for top-performing drivers
  • Bonus eligibility based on:
    • No property damage
    • Overall performance (PIPPS Plan: Attendance, NCNS, call-ins, etc.)
    • Reliability Score: Number of days rostered vs. number of days called out.

Position Details:

• 10-hour shifts typical, 4-5-day workweeks (generally not exceeding 3 consecutive days)
• Day shifts with future potential for 2nd shift if desired
• 2 paid 15-minute breaks and 1 unpaid 30-minute lunch per-shift.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time.
• Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs. on a frequent basis; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations, walk, bend, climb stairs.
• Safely operate company delivery vehicles (Mercedes Sprinter, Dodge ProMaster, Ford Transit), perform daily vehicle safety inspections.
• Adhere to all driving laws and company safety policies.
• Use smart phone device for GPS navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members.

Job Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver's license OR unexpired state-issued identification.
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must successfully pass a 5-Panel Drug Screening (which does include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position). Company will conduct ongoing MVR checks on vehicular accidents, driving violations and drivers status in compliance with Federal and State law.
• Physically fit to meet delivery demands.
• Familiarity with Texas driving laws and safety procedures.
• Able to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
