Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/29/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS or CCI vascular registry and experience performing vascular and echocardiography studies. Responsibilities Work in a vascular ultrasound department in a hospital setting Schedule is 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 1-hour lunch Rotating weekends, working every 4th to 5th weekend Required to take call on scheduled weekends and 1-2 weekdays per week Patient population includes vascular and cardiac cases Procedures performed include echocardiograms (including TEE and intraoperative studies), vascular studies, stress echos, TCDs, TCOMs, EKGs, stress tests, holter monitoring, and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring Modules completed during orientation via HealthStream Completion of all documentation related to performed procedures is required Registry-eligible technologists may not independently perform vascular studies or take call for vascular studies unless supervised by a registered technologist Expected to assist with clerical and reception duties as needed May be required to assume supervisor responsibilities in their absence Maintaining continuing education is expected Responsible for keeping all areas stocked and clean, and participating in equipment cleaning Mandatory completion of orientation modules Requirements Active BLS certification required ARDMS or CCI registry in Vascular Technology required ARDMS or CCI registration in Echocardiography preferred Must provide two references from recent supervisors within the last 3 years License required if applicable Must provide Social Security Number and submit all required certifications for consideration Travel experience highly preferred Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted RTO (requested time off) must be submitted with consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-634569.
